Dog Meato

Dog meat is eaten in some countries and certain breeds of dogs are raised on farms and slaughtered for their meat. Dog meat may be consumed as an alternative source of meat or for specific medicinal benefits attributed to various parts of a dog. In parts of the world where dogs are kept as pets, people generally consider the use of dogs for food to be a social taboo.

In Ghana, the rising appetite in this delicacy has become a major subject.I sometimes wonder why the generation of this appetite is rising in this modern era.

Although cultural attitudes, legalities, and history regarding eating dog meat varies from country to country. Very little statistical information is available on attitudes to the consumption of the meat.

Though the consumption of dog meat is generally viewed as taboo in Western culture, some Westerners support the right to eat dog meat and accuse other Westerners who protest against dog eating in other countries of cultural imperialism and intolerance

According to the investigations I discreetly conducted around the county last few weeks,

My studies further revealed that the delicacy, which a few decades ago, was not popular in typical urban centers in Ghana in the South, has today gained wide acceptance among the nation’s over 20 million people, particularly the productive youthful population, including our unemployed youth, fishermen and land guards in indigenous Accra.

Whether smoked, roasted or sauced, it is taken usually with gari or hot kenkey over tots of local gin (akpeteshie), keba shoo, alomo gin bitters, ginseng liquor, mandingo, rosso rosso and other alcoholic beverages mixed for addictive purposes

Unfortunately,I wish for a sort of flu for this meat.Where are the scientist, please come to our rescue.Don't you have Dogmeato Flu of a kind?

please be quick

Aponkye the Goat

Aponkye means goat. Goat means Aponkye. lol in the Ghanaian language. The aponkye, as it is popularly known in our homeland Ghana is skittish and playful, never afraid, tenacious and yet, incredibly a funny animal.

YOU never know where goat will take you. When I asked the smiley butcher at a store near my apartment whether he had any goat meat, he told me: “No. I got a leg of lamb, though — I could trim it nice and thin to make it look like goat.” I politely declined because the butcher man was just ignorant of my gastronomic desire.

The smelling head of the male ones are mostly my target when it comes to Ab3nkwan and Fufu. What do you think ?I am not here to wet your appetite let me quickly give you the recipe

Skills in Recipe

Wash and cut the meat into small pieces put into a deep pan add some
water chopped onions and ground chillies. Season with salt and cook
for 30-45minutes until meat is almost tender. Add the peppersoup seasoning
and the rest of the stock and cook for another 10-15minutes until meat
is soft and tender. Sprinkle in the crayfish chopped mint and utazi
leaves stir and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot in traditional
earthenware soup pots or bowls.

We shall meet again. Bon la 'petit

swine flu

SWINE FLU
Hahahahaha ...My God ,I really love to hear these scientific revelations on flues (different Kinds)

ask me why.

I never said I don't believe them ,neither am i saying they don't exist..Swine flue is an infection of a host animal by anyone of several specific types of microscopic organism called swine influenza virus (SIV) it is any strain of influenza family viruses that is usually hosted in pigs.

But for me,I laugh because i am not afraid, tickled nor terrified about all these hullabaloo on their out-breaks.The revelation of these flu's actually excites me and rather increases my demand for them.

It will marvel you to know that a juicy God giving meat like Pork has been tagged SWINE FLU every where you go.This has inevitably reduced the demand and by economics affected the price and supply. (drastically running to the negative ...)

I have no problem in the fall in demand neither the falling market prices ..in fact it excites me more ..my only problem is the LACK OF SUPPLY IN THE MARKET

My demand is actually the opposite .It has risen more than my expectation.I pay less for more this time, there is no more unnecessary competition and sellers have adapted the habit of 'Ntoso"How lovely

I don't know much, but i only want to believe with no remorse that our native pigs can re- stand any flu because their already unhygienic skin can reject the virus infestation. This i believe because, the swelling of this flu is paramount in the developed world where hygiene is believed to be on the ascending peak.Eg (Midwestern America, south America,Canada,Europe ,China ,japan etc)

Hmm! I thanked God for bird flu,I am praising Him for Swine flu, I pray for Ice-cream flu.fish flu,Chocolate flu,Khebab flu,PK flu...Amen

Don't blame me .......Noko Fiooooooooooooo
